Used for conventions and meetings, the front of the Corn Palace is decorated with moorish designs and minarets all created out of corn and other grains. The palace is honored in a citywide corn festival, which draws bands, artisans, and delicious eateries together for a weekend of family fun. Originally built in 1927, the historic building is located on Main Street, north of downtown, near Ketnel Park.
